Dues motion passes

Seton Residents,

Thanks to everyone who attended the annual meeting yesterday!

At the end of the meeting, there was a motion for raising the monthly dues to a total of $450 starting for the month of July onward. This additional $25 a month is designated to the Capital Projects Fund. The resulting vote was 12 Yay and 6 Nay (66.6%), resulting in the motion PASSING. 

The required voting in dues/budget issues, other than an Assessment, requires greater than 50% in favor of to pass. Voting requirements by topic are:

• Changes to the Covenant requires 80% in favor of item to pass.

• Changes to the Rules and Assessments requires 65% in favor of item to pass.

• Changes to the Bylaws requires 75% in favor of item to pass.

• Changes to all other items requires greater than 50% in favor of item to pass.

Starting with the July 2024 monthly payment, please pay $450 a month. For those that paid for the year, please send payment for $275 to now pay for the year. Individual emails will go out to those affected that don’t pay monthly. 

The spreadsheet circulation and other follow-up items are coming -- this monthly dues item was the most pressing to get to you.
