Pool closing Oct. 4

The long-term weather outlook seems to be bringing summer to an end. Because the weather will be highs in the 50s and low 60s after Tuesday this week, the pool will be closing for the season on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. The heater will be shut off and no more chemicals will be added after that. Winterizing has been scheduled with Horizon currently on November 6,2023.

After that, we would appreciate some help and volunteers to put the cover on the pool for the winter. More details to follow as closer on the cover.

We would also once again like to thank Harry for all the hard work again this year. It was another tough year getting the chemicals balanced to open, the daily maintenance and countless hours Harry puts in everyday. He seemed more motivated to get it open to not upset the regular users or he would have to move away for his safety though. HAHA. We also want to thank those that helped throughout the year from scrubbing the pool, washing the deck, running Molly and helping with filter cleaning to mention a few items.
